All in: Aegerter wants to give it his all at the Misano MotoE showdown

In the Misano double-header, Dynavolt Intact GP rider Dominique Aegerter is looking to give it his all once again in the fight for the title, which will be decided this weekend at the Gran Premio Octo di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini.

Just two races remain in this year's FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup. But who has what it takes to be crowned World Champion in 2021? Even though more than five riders could still mathematically win the Cup, Swiss rider Dominique Aegerter is clearly one of the favorite contenders.

Aegerter's deficit before the last two rounds of the World Championship only counts eleven points in fourth of the cup ranking, with 50 still to be won. It will be a gripping finale, that much is certain. The venue for the final spectacle is the 4.2 km Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli near the beautiful Adriatic coast.

Although a MotoE win has been a long time coming so far this season, the 30-year-old knows that he scored a victory at Misano 2020 before his luck ran out in the second round when he was kicked out of the race through no fault of his own. Now it's time for revenge.

Two races, 50 points, and only one of the 18 contenders can become the 2021 World Champion. Can Dominique Aegerter turn things around once more?

The action starts on Friday with two free practices, followed by the E-Pole on Saturday morning, before the first preliminary race is taking place in the afternoon at 16:20. The second and probably world championship-deciding race will be held on Sunday as the last highlight of the day at 15:30.
