To overcome many obstacles for the start of the championship in Estoril

Despite adverse circumstances the German Intact GP team has once again set up a very ambitious young riders project for this year’s CEV series.

The cooperation with the Sepang International Circuit is already entering its second year. The starting lists for the Moto2™ European Championship and the European Talent Cup (ETC) includes four young talents from the LIQUI MOLY Intact SIC Junior Team based in Memmingen in the Allgäu region of Germany. The Malaysian Adam Norrodin represents the outfit in the Moto2 class, whilst German rider Phillip Tonn (14), Sharul Ezwan Sharil (Malaysia, 16) and Damian Jigalov (16) from the USA will be gaining their first experience in the fiercely competitive ETC.

After a long wait on the part of the organizers, a completely revised calendar for the FIM CEV series 2020 was released just a few weeks ago. The championship now starts with two races in Portugal. The season will start these days at the most western point of Europe in Estoril. After that, the series moves over to the Algarve coastline in the south of the country, where the demanding Portimao circuit will host round two. Further stops will be at Jerez de la Frontera, Aragon and Valencia to finish the season in early November. At the last three events, races will be held on Saturday and Sunday. As in previous years, all races can be followed live on the series' YouTube channel.
